Dr. John has visited Haiti 13 times now, doing ministry all over Haiti. He is a retired Pediatrician and he comes to Haiti to offer quality medical care, medication, and health education for free. He visited a rural mountain town called Lamontine for the first week and then joined Danny and Leann for his second week. Dr. John met Danny while departing Haiti on a trip he was on several months ago, and became interested in the ministry in Jacmel.
While Dr. John was here for the week he saw close to 450 children and several moms, dads, and grandparents. He treated the children at Haitian Children’s Home, as well as visited two other orphanages, and did mobile clinics in two Churches and two schools. This gave Jean, one of our boys who want to be a doctor, a great in sight as he translated for Dr. John for a few days.
We were so grateful for Dr. John and the big impact he had here in Jacmel the short time he was here.
