Danny and Leann Pye, Haitian Children’s Home Directors
Danny and Leann grew up in the Bradenton, Florida area. They were both actively involved in mission minded Churches. Traveling on many short term mission trips in their teen years, they both knew that God was calling them personally to work over sea missions. They were married in May of 2002. In their short time in the States they were both involved in youth ministry before moving to Haiti. They have been missionaries in Haiti full time since October 2004. They served in Seguin, for their first year, and moved to Jacmel to work with the Haitian Children’s Home in September of 2005. Danny and Leann have two children—Jabez and Riann. Give Now!
Nick and Gwenn Mangine, Stateside Support
Nick and Gwenn have been married since October 2000 and live in central North Carolina with their 3 children, Nia, Nico and Josiah. They began working with the Haitian Children's Home in August 2006. The Mangine's are planning to move to Jacmel, Haiti in May of 2009 to open the second Haitian Children's Home house. Give Now!
Anise, Lolo, Giseline, and Naomi, Haitian Children’s Home Nannies
Full-time nannies at the Haitian Children's Home are responsible for the day-to-day care of the children. They prepare meals, wash clothing, handle basic discipline, get the children ready for school and church, coordinate chores and much, much more.
